The number of things you can do online is staggering.
There are thousands of ways to make money online. This can put you off especially if you’re just starting out.
So how does one choose a niche to start with?
You’ve probably heard this before, and you’ll hear it again here. You need to choose a niche you’re familiar with or have the most knowledge in.
This can be anything. Whatever you feel is a skill or talent that you have now and comfortable talking about it because you know something.
Notice how I stress on the word “something”.
Whatever skills or talents you have right now, someone, somewhere out there, is looking for help and you can be the person to help them.
It can be anything that you’re good at. Look for a niche that closely relates to what you have in mind.
The reason why you want to do this way is because it can ‘ease’ you into the Internet Marketing world and not just throw you straight in head on with a topic you barely know about.
For example: You are good at cooking.
Look at Clickbank.com and find offers or products that you feel like you will buy yourself.
What you’ll do next is to create a blog website (sites like blogger.com is free) and write articles about cooking. Share your tips, your own recipes, how you would go about cooking something, what ingredients you replaced to give the food a little more ‘kick’, etc.
Then share it with your friends, or join cooking forums or chat rooms and tell about your blog.
If you want to know more on how to earn money by blogging, I recommend signing up for Affilorama.
It details every step you need to take from choosing a niche, to setting up your website, to earning money passively.
But what if you feel you don’t have any skills at all?
This is where you start learning. Choose something that you’ve always been interested in.
Buy books and read. Join forums and engage. Enroll in classes and learn.
You don’t need to own a bachelor’s degree to make money online, and that’s why it’s so easy to start.
I summarize this whole blog with this sentence: “To succeed online, be really good at what you’re doing, then tell the world”.
Just like what I’m doing. I like writing blogs and I love helping people who’s new like you. How did I get all this knowledge?
I learned it all. I studied, absorb and got myself into courses just to know more.
Now all those lessons are ingrained in my brain and I’m sharing them to the world – and yes I’m making a living out of it too.
